Another Double weekend

Friday

Another busy weekend for Doctor Moonshine… Friday took us to The White Horse in Silverstone. Owing to the fact that it was the start of the British Grand Prix weekend, the place was absolutelly rammed!

There was lots of drinking, dancing and spilled pints throughout and we thouroughly enjoyed getting to watch the choas unfold.

Perhaps coolest of all - one of Jimmy’s guitar students currently works in the kitchen, so we got him up to play - he blew the place away with his version of Sweet Child Of Mine, along with some additional Foo Fighters classics.

It was a bit of a late one, made later by the fact we got blocked in by a beer delivery…but all in all we had a great time and hope to be back next year!

Saturday

Saturday took us all the way down to Surrey to play at a 50th birthday party, situated in an English vinyard. It was a very pretty location, with rows and rows of grape vines sprawling across rolling hills and off into the horizon. The, peaceful, idyllic setting almost felt a bit too nice to be disturbed by our racket…

There was obviously plenty of wine being consumed however…so before long, guests were up dancing and having a great time. Song requests were coming in thick and fast and it didn’t take long for the planned setlist to get thrown in the bin!

Food was great, weather was lush, much fun was had!

Guy brought the motorhome down so we didn’t have to drive home at 2am. Played some Mortal Kombat on the Sega emulator, which was hilariously fun.
